Exciting Things

1. One of my articles has been accepted for publishing, with revisions
2. Mom, Geoff and Maddie are coming up over Labor Day
3. Bedroom wall is now purple
4. Dresser is now brown
5. Work is being good and interesting

Things That Are Not Fun

1. Finding yourself at work at 2 am and realizing you still have 3 1/2 hours left before you can go home
2. Working multiple shifts in the same week
3. Running out of mail on the machine you are supposed to be observing
4. Eating a bad-tasting carrot
5. Trying to update your progress report about everything you are supposed to be learning but can't because they ran out of mail
